2017年第15屆美國千島國際青年鋼琴比賽
美國千島國際青年鋼琴比賽的初衷是給青年鋼琴家們提供一個表演和分享音樂的平臺。我們希望把古典音樂帶到千島湖，鼓勵積極進取的青年藝術家。同時，選手們還可以享受紐約州北部的美景和聖勞倫斯河的美景。我們相信，這一定是一次空前絕後的藝術體驗。每年，當地的人們和藝術家們都建立了友誼。2017年第15屆千島國際鋼琴比賽將在美麗的聖勞倫斯河畔——Maple Grove城堡內舉行。
2014年，來自北京的17歲女孩李紅喜榮獲初級組三等獎。
千島群島是東安大略最受歡迎的景點之一，也是聖羅倫斯河最美的一段，河上的1800多島分屬於美國和加拿大。美國和加拿大許多藝術家都喜歡在這裏享受小島上與世隔絕的隱居生活，所以千島水域有許多豪宅，也有許多風格特立獨行的建築，整個水域就像一個藏寶庫，巡航其中，旖旎的風光俯拾皆是。柏德特城堡建於心形島上，這座宛如童話故事中的中古世紀造型城堡，是於1904年美國旅館業鉅子喬治柏· 德特(George C. Boldt)為其夫人所建。目前這座城堡已改為博物館，可供遊客參觀。
比賽地點：美國，紐約州，開普文森特（距離紐約有5個多小時車程）
比賽時間：2017年9月11日-2017年9月13日（共計3天）
報名截止時間：2017年6月30日（由於參賽人數有限，請儘量提早報名）
參賽要求：比賽面向25歲及以下的青年鋼琴家開放，無最小年齡限制。選手將分為兩個組別：
初級組-以2017年9月1日為界，未完成高中學業的鋼琴家；
高級組-以2017年9月1日為界，以完成高中學業，但未滿26歲的鋼琴家。
參賽曲目：
There will be three Rounds in the Competition. The Junior Division will play first each day followed by the Senior Division. The order of performers will change each day of the competition. Contestants will be notified of these details prior to the competition. Failure to appear at the specified times will eliminate contestants from the competition.
Round I – Friday, Sept. 8
Round II – Sat., Sept. 9
Round III – Sun., Sept. 10
Round I and Round II Repertoire requirements and program time frames:
Round I: A program of approximately 18 minutes of music.
Round II: A program of approximately 23 minutes of music.
All contestants must include within Round I OR Round II a work from the:
*Baroque era
*Classical era (one movement of a sonata is sufficient)
*20th or 21st Century (should demonstrate modern compositional techniques; should not be typically classified as Impressionistic or Late Romantic). For example, music by Ravel or Rachmaninoff does not fulfill this requirement. These composers may be used under “additional music” as mentioned below.
Round I may not include music of Chopin.
Round II must include music of Chopin comprising of one work of any length chosen by the contestant OR multiple works not to exceed 10 minutes in total length. Movements from the Sonatas or Chopin transcriptions are not permitted.
Additional music from any historical period may be chosen to round out either of the competition programs within the given time frames.
Round III
Junior Division—Any Chopin selection from the list below OR any Chopin work (s) whose timing does not exceed 10 minutes (no minimum). Chopin works from Round II cannot be repeated. Movements from the Sonatas and Chopin transcriptions are not permitted.
Senior Division – Choose any one Chopin Selection from the following categories:
Ballade
Scherzo
Fantasy in F minor
Polonaise: Op. 22, Op.44, Op. 53 & Op. 61
Preludes: A group of six
One Nocturne plus Two Etudes
Barcarolle, Op. 60
One copy of each work played by contestants must be available for the jury panel. Photocopies are strictly forbidden. No identifying marks (names or schools) should be on the jury copy; fingering or other educational marking is permissible.
A repertoire list with timings (Please check here for sample repertoires) and a musical/personal biography (under 200 words) MUST be sent via email (address below) with application. These documents MUST be sent in a word format – NO PDF permitted.

評委的評審結果是最終的，不容置疑。
獎項設置：
每個組別的獎項如下：
一等獎：2000美元及以下；
二等獎：1000美元及以下；
三等獎：500美元及以下；
備註：美國千島比賽有一個慷慨的頒獎歷史以認可最優秀的鋼琴演繹家，獎項不一定總是按照上述明細頒發；評委會按照專業標準考量選手，並有權授予多個一二三等獎項；沒有特殊獎項，獎項可以在兩個選手間平分，授予的總獎金額度不能超過上述公佈的總獎金；還可能為選手提供一些演出機會。
