劉綺華出生於香港。早年獲取獎學金遠赴英國皇家音樂學院完成音樂課程並取得多個獎項。在英國留學期間，曾多次到歐洲各城市作公開演出。回港後，隨即以演奏家身份與多個樂團合作包括香港管弦樂團、香港中樂團和香港小交響樂團。她亦參與香港藝術節及文化中心開幕時之表演嘉賓。

    她所演出過的音樂會和電臺錄音均得到各界的讚賞，更奠定了她在香港的音樂地位。劉綺華除了活躍於演奏外，她近年更致力於鋼琴教學，特別是教授鋼琴伴奏的技巧，同時亦在各主要的公開比賽中擔任評審。她現任教於香港演藝學院鋼琴系。

Hong Kong pianist Eva Lue received musical education from the Royal College of Music, London, being the recipient of scholarships and prizes. Since her return to Hong Kong, Eva Lue has appeared as concerto soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta Orchestra. Her recitals and radio broadcasts both as soloist and accompanist were welcomed with critical acclaim both locally and abroad.

Eva Lue has devoted much of her time in pedagogic and adjudicating work in recent years. She is at present piano staff at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Recent performances included recording of the complete Beethoven violin sonatas with Radio Television Hong Kong and flute recitals concert tour in China.
