香港音樂教育家、指揮家

區品賢先生畢業於香港教育學院音樂教育系，及上海音樂學院音樂教育系、指揮系，並修讀小提琴教學。多年來從事音樂教學工作，桃李滿天下，現活躍於樂壇及獻身音樂工作者，大不乏人。教學期間，帶領學校合唱團參加比賽，屢獲佳績，後任香港國際基督教優質音樂學校合唱指揮講師；1981年應香港政府邀請，創辦香港屯門兒童合唱團暨管弦樂團，30多年來，團隊往訪多國，及與國內多個省市合唱團、少年宮等互訪交流，期間獲「優秀童聲獎」（1993）、「黃果樹瀑布獎」（1996）等。區先生亦為香港小學音樂教科書作者，先後出版「小學音樂天地」（1990），及「新小學音樂」（2012），為香港音樂教育作出貢獻。此外，區先生亦熱心社會公益服務，經常應邀出任香港及國內音樂評判，並任香港女童軍「音樂章」及「歌唱章」評核員。2011年，區先生出版「屯門兒童合唱團歌集」，乃集教授們、駐團作曲家們及個人獲獎作品而成；2015年發表「中華好品德校園歌集」，乃為中、小學合唱團及課堂而寫之作品，對青少年德育及歌唱培養，起積極作用；生深遠影響。

Hong Kong Vocal music educator conductor
Mr Au Pun Yin Hansel graduated from The Hong Kong Institute of Education, majoring in music Education. He is also alumni from The Shanghai Conservatory of Music, focusing on music education, conducting, and violin teaching. Mr Au is a prolific music educator. Over the past decades, lots of his pupils follow his footstep to become musicians. He is the conductor of different schools, including International Christian Quality Music School. Under his leadership, these schools won numerous music awards. In 1981, The Hong Kong Government appointed him to establish Tuen Mun Children Choir. The choir has performances and exchange program in Hong Kong and worldwide over the past thirty years. Honors received including “Excellent Chorus”「優秀童聲獎」 (1993), “Huangguoshu Waterfall Prize” 「黃果樹瀑布獎」(1996), etc. Mr Au is an author for music textbooks for Hong Kong primary schools, publications including “Music for Primary Schools”「小學音樂天地」（1990），and “New Music fur Primary Schools” 「新小學音樂」（2012). Apart from textbook materials, his publications also include chorus album, such as “Tuen Mun Children Choir Songs” 「屯門兒童合唱團歌集」(2011), which comprised by award songs from contemporary composers and professors, and the most recent released “Songs Album for Chinese Good Moral for Schools” 「中華好品德校園歌集」(2015). These collections are special written for primary and secondary schools.
