2018年瑞士日內瓦青少年國際小提琴比賽

梅紐因於1983年創立小提琴的“奧林匹克”賽事。該項比賽每兩年舉辦一次，是世界上最為著名的青少年小提琴比賽之一，具有很高的國際聲譽。包括世界頂級小提琴家之一朱莉亞•費舍爾、英國國寶級小提琴家塔斯敏•利特爾等很多活躍於世界樂壇的小提琴家也曾參加過此項比賽並獲獎。該賽事吸引了40多個國家的選手報名，僅有44位優秀的小提琴家入選。
梅紐因曾多次訪問中國，對中國的小提琴教育事業極為關注，並預言二十世紀小提琴演奏事業的高峰將出現在東方。八十年代初，我國有不少優秀的少年琴童被送到梅紐因音樂學校學習。首屆比賽雲集了許多中國選手，幾乎包攬了所有獎項。在少年組中王曉東獲第一名，王崢嶸獲第二名，張樂獲第三名，呂思清獲第五名。在1985年的第二屆比賽中，青年選手胡坤獲得了第一名。之後，在第三屆英國梅紐因國際小提琴比賽中，我國選手董昆和鄭青又分獲少年組第一名和青年組第二名的好成績。1998年我國選手15歲的王志昊又以優異的成績獲得少年組比賽的第一名，2012年郭思言獲得第四名。由此，梅紐因國際小提琴比賽，已成為中國青少年選手參賽與獲獎最多的一項比賽。並成為鍛煉與培養青少年小提琴家走向世界琴壇的國際舞臺。

參賽要求：比賽面向22歲以下的小提琴選手開放，不限國籍；其中初級組選手必須是16歲以下，高級組選手必須是22歲以下，以2018年4月22日為界；15歲選手選手可以申請高級組。
