Yu Ming-qing is a professor of Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) and president of the Cello Association of China. He once studied in Belgium as a state-funded student and received a degree in cello and chamber music with the “Highest Distinction” and a master degree. Yang XueLan Music Education Award, CCOM Outstanding Teacher Award, CCOM Young Teacher Award, and Best Teacher Award in the 5th National Cello Competition are some of his greatest awards.
