賽事介紹 ABOUT COMPETITION

為弦樂界建立一個嶄新的國際交流平臺， EP國際跨國文化交流協會、香港國際音樂家協會IMAHK及廣東小提琴教育學會聯合主辦國際弦樂公開賽，本賽事將隔年於香港及奧地利舉辦。同時，大賽組委會將邀請來自中國、德國、波蘭、奧地利、美國、加拿大、香港當今國際傑出的演奏家和教育家擔任評判。活動期間除了比賽以外還將邀請評委嘉賓舉辦專題講座及音樂會。

In order to establish a new international exchange platform for Strings Sector, EP International Intercultural Exchange Association,HONGKONG INTERNATIONAL MUSICIAN ASSOCIATION and Guangdong Violin Education Institute jointly organize the International String Open. This contest will be held every other year in Hong Kong and Austria. Meanwhile, the organizing committee will invite today’s international outstanding performers and educators from China, Germany, Poland, Austria, the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong to judge the contest. During the Activity, in addition to the Contest, guest judges will also be invited to deliver lectures and concerts.

總決賽評委分別來自：波蘭、德國、英國、美國、法國、匈牙利、奧地利、澳大利亞、韓國、俄羅斯、烏克蘭、中國、香港和台灣。

香港國際音樂家協會(HONGKONG INTERNATIONAL MUSICIAN ASSOCIATION，簡稱IMA.HK)註冊於香港的國際性藝術交流及藝術等級資格鑒定的專業音樂團體。旨在為世界各地音樂家建立一個相互交流共同發展的國際平臺，定期舉辦音樂會、演奏會、大師班、論壇、講座及賽事交流等活動。香港，中西文化交匯，人才薈萃，是亞洲文化藝術活動最有生氣的地方。是全球藝術家、藝人必到之地。

The IMA.HK is a professional music group focusing on international art exchange, which has been identified as high artistic level. The IMA.HK aims to offer an international stage for all the musicians to communicate and develop further, holding concerts, masterclasses, forum, lectures, and competitions at regular intervals and expanding HK musicians. Hong Kong, a city where Chinese culture meets with Western culture and a place appealing countless talents, is the most active area of Asian cultural and artistic activities and an ideal land for global artists.

廣東小提琴教育學會

廣東小提琴教育學會成立於1988年7月，原名全國少兒小提琴教育聯誼會廣東分會。學會直屬廣東省民政廳，廣東省文聯領導，廣東省音協業務主管，系非盈利性質的社會民間學術團體。是由我省熱心少兒小提琴教學研究的小提琴教育家、演奏家、教師、演員以及熱愛小提琴教育事業的同志自願組成。堅持“走正道、辦實事、眼向下、弘揚民族文化”的方針。致力於少兒小提琴業餘教育，提高我省少兒小提琴教育水準和演奏水準，促進我省少兒音樂事業的發展是會員的共同目標。
長期以來，學會不間斷地組織少兒小提琴教學研討活動，交流省內外各地小提琴教學資訊，舉辦有關小提琴夏令營，承辦各類型小提琴演奏比賽和業餘小提琴考級活動。

Guangdong Violin Education Society
Established in July 1988, Guangdong Society of Violin Education, formerly known as National Society of Youth Violin Education, Guangdong Branch, is a non-profit non-governmental academic group directly under the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province. The Society is led by Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles and supervised by Guangdong Musician Association. Volunteers of violin educators, performers, teachers, actors and other professionals have synergised in the research on youth violin education. Adhering to the general policy which is to be pragmatic in promoting the national culture, the Society focuses on part-time violin education for youth in order to improve their performance and the teaching standard. All members of the Society share the mission to contribute to the cause of youth music in Guangdong Province.
The Society has always been active since its establishment. Teaching seminars to exchange information on youth violin education in and out of Guangdong Province and violin summer camps are held regularly. The Society is also the host of various violin contests and amateur grade examinations.
