2018年美國休斯頓長笛俱樂部“拜倫·海斯特”長笛比賽

休斯頓長笛俱樂部成立於1982年，俱樂部的成員包括專業的表演藝術家，老師，學生，業餘表演藝術家，以及長笛愛好者。 休斯頓長笛俱樂部每月都有一次排練演出排練，通常情況下一年有四次大型演出。 每年，休斯頓長笛俱樂部都舉行比賽，大師班和獨奏會等。休斯頓長笛俱樂部的發展目的是培養，提升自己的會員，通過表演，教育，以及其他和長笛有關的活動，創造一個適合各個級別的長笛演奏家的環境。
美國休斯頓長笛俱樂部“拜倫·海斯特”長笛比賽是以長笛演奏家拜倫·海斯特命名的，為了紀念這位偉大德長笛演奏家。拜倫·海斯特生於1925年，休斯頓交響樂隊的首席長笛手，曾經擔任休斯頓大學音樂學院的長笛教師。第二次世界大戰結束之後，他去了紐約，在茱莉亞音樂學院學習。在茱莉亞音樂學院學習兩年之後，他又去了柯蒂斯音樂學院任教，同時在一些大型的樂隊表演，使他保留了演奏的品質，並且可以把知識傳輸給青年演奏家。

曲目要求：
Preliminary Round – Recorded Entries
Create an .mp3 file of the following required pieces:
1. C.P.E. Bach: Allegro (Mov’t 3) from Sonata in A Minor for flute solo, Wq. 132 (Bärenreiter) To be recorded without repeats. Additional ornamentation and articulation at performer’s discretion.
2. Eugène Bozza: Image pour flute seule (Alphonse Leduc) To be recorded without interruption.
3. Editing of the recording is strictly prohibited. It is recommended that each piece be recorded in the same room with the same recording equipment and recording conditions.
4. No speaking or identification of the performer of any kind should be on the recording. Any speaking or identification will result in the contestant being disqualified.
5. All recordings will be coded and sent to the judges without identification to protect the anonymity of the performer.
6. All recordings become the property of the Houston Flute Club.
7. Recordings must be submitted online with the completed application form. Incomplete entries will not be judged.
Final Round -Live Competition
Perform a public recital for judges at the 2018 Houston Flute Club Flute Fest at Two works to be performed in any order:
*C.P.E. Bach: Allegro (Mov’t 3) from Sonata in A Minor for flute solo, Wq. 132 (Bärenreiter) To be performed without repeats. Additional ornamentation and articulation at performer’s discretion.
*One or more movements from a piece of the contestant’s choice for flute and piano not to exceed ten minutes. If requested, contestant to provide one copy of their score for the judges.
Contestants are bound to their chosen final round repertoire. No changes are permitted.

評委組成：
評委由國際著名的音樂家、長笛演奏家和音樂教授團隊組成。
備註：
參賽選手資訊不會提供給評委，評委會秉著公正公開的原則對參賽作品給予評判；
評委有權打斷逾時演出；
評委的學生不得報名參賽；
選手的評審權僅歸評委所有；
評委保留不頒發某些獎勵的權利，以及頒發共用獎勵和特別獎勵權利；
評委的評審結果是最終的，不容置疑。

獎項設置：
一等獎：1500美元，並且應邀參加2019年的休斯頓長笛俱樂部長笛音樂節。
備註：
依據評委的建議，組委會可頒發其他的特別獎項或不頒發獎項。
